If you operate a business, you need to comply with fire safety law. The main law is the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 or "the Fire Safety Order". It applies across England and Wales and came into force on 1 October 2006.

This means you need to make sure:

  • Your premises reach the required standards.

  • Employees are provided with adequate fire safety training.

We currently work with clients from a range of industries, Construction, Care Homes, Manufacturers providing Fire Warden, Fire extinguishers, and bespoke solutions.

Our range of Nuco accredited or in-house training courses ensure your staff receives the highest level of training, delivered by experienced firefighters.

Bespoke courses are developed by our expert Instructors to meet our clients’ specific needs. Courses that include live-fire training are delivered using a range of fire extinguishers and a live fire simulator.

Yearly fire drills are a legal requirement for all businesses, you should carry out at least one fire drill per year and record the results. You must keep the results as part of your fire safety and evacuation plan.

In addition to conducting fire drills, it is also the employer's responsibility to conduct a fire safety assessment of the premises, to inform staff about potential dangers and risks in the workplace, train staff and implement fire safety measures.
